Our Bespoke 3D Design and Printing Services

Our Wigan facilities are fully equipped for custom 3D design and printing across Greater Manchester:

– Full CAD design capabilities, including drawings and illustrations prior to manufacture.

– CAD services provided if you do not have your own.

– Desk or portable CR-SCAN 3D scanners capable of capturing detailed surface finishes.

– 3D printing up to 250mm x 250mm x 250mm, with multi-part assemblies for larger projects.

Our Materials

PLA – This is most basic of the standard materials, semi flexible, easy print but degrades in the sun and outside weather. Available in a variety of colours and textures.

PETG – Strong & semi flexible, easy print like PLA and is also food safe but is hydroscopic Available in a variety of colours and textures.

ABS – Has high heat tolerance that can withstand hot temperatures, ABS-printed parts are extra tough and can survive multiple impacts. It has good impact resistance even at low temperatures. This results in a polymer with excellent mechanical properties, such as impact resistance, toughness, and dimensional stability. Only available currently in a choice of 2 colours and is slow to print so costs extra.

ASA – This filament is similar to ABS but has better UV resistance, mechanical properties and aesthetics. ASA is suitable for outdoor and long-lasting projects that require strength, rigidity, water-resistance, chemical resistance, and anti-static properties. ASA is also more resistant to environmental stress cracking than ABS. However, ASA is more difficult to print than ABS and thus has an increased cost element. Only currently available in a choice of 2 colours and is also slow to print so costs extra.

TPU – Very soft and flexible and good for gaskets (but not very hot environments) cable shrouds and all rubber like tasks. Available in black and grey only (other colours at extra cost)
